In my latest work, I combined images of the principal of Salinas High with a fantastical depiction of my own principal riding a red dragon breathing flames. This blend symbolizes the playful rivalry between our schools.

Using Adobe Photoshop, I employed selection and masking, the pen tool, feathering, and Generative AI to create a seamless composition. The result is a vibrant image that captures the energy and competition inherent in the narrative.

This project taught me to creatively navigate Photoshop's tools, revealing how digital techniques can enhance storytelling in art. I’m excited to continue exploring these possibilities in my future work.

In my latest piece, I combined a scene from the anime "Attack on Titan," where a titan breaches a wall, with a photograph of myself reaching out to the wall. This fusion reflects my desire to explore personal agency within fantastical narratives.

Using Adobe Photoshop, I utilized the selection and mask tool to carefully cut myself out of the original image. I then employed the pen tool, smudge tool, and blur tool to create atmospheric smoke, enhancing the drama of the scene. The adjustment tool was essential for aligning the lighting between the two images.

The final result was successful, effectively capturing the intensity of the original moment while inserting my own presence into this fictional world. Through this process, I learned how to seamlessly integrate a personal element into a fantasy setting, allowing viewers to imagine themselves in the thrilling universe of "Attack on Titan."

My movie poster design centers on the exhilarating theme of a high-octane car race, featuring Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez. The concept aimed to evoke excitement and tension, drawing viewers into the action.

I created the design using Adobe Photoshop, leveraging a variety of tools such as selection, pen, eraser, text, gradient, and shape. I particularly focused on the gradient tool, which enriched the final product by creating a dynamic fading effect on both the characters and the background, enhancing the overall depth and movement of the composition.

During the design process, I was pleased with how the gradient brought vibrancy and cohesion to the poster. However, I faced challenges with asset placement; determining the optimal arrangement to ensure the poster stood out was difficult. Given more time, I would refine this aspect, experimenting with different layouts and additional visual elements to further enhance its impact.
This project has deepened my understanding of design and the importance of thoughtful composition in creating an engaging movie poster.

Bruno Mars has been a profound source of inspiration for me through his music. Since childhood, I found immense joy in singing along to his tracks, and his ability to blend various genres resonates deeply with my own artistic expression. His work captures a wide range of emotions and experiences, making it relatable and uplifting.

One quote that particularly stands out to me is, "When it's your time, it is your time." This sentiment highlights the importance of patience and serves as a reminder that many people abandon their dreams too soon due to impatience or the feeling that they’re running out of time. Personally, it encourages me to embrace my journey and recognize that I need to wait for the right moment to achieve my goals.

In designing the magazine cover, I wanted to visually convey this message of patience. I masked half of Bruno's image, which allows the quote to take center stage on the opposite side. This layout emphasizes the significance of the message while keeping his presence as a focal point. I opted for an off-white background to align with his warm and inviting aesthetic, adding to the overall vibe of the cover.

I hope my audience notices the deliberate emphasis on the quote, which I placed in a prominent position with a larger font size. My goal is to inspire viewers to appreciate the value of patience and resilience, encouraging them to hold onto their dreams and trust that their time will come. Ultimately, I want them to leave with a sense of empowerment and motivation to pursue their passions.
